As far as I know, italkbb will not work with Alarm system land line since italkbb may not work when power is down.

I have a Home Security Alarm system monitoring by a monitoring centre. If alarm sounded, they will use my home phone line for contact. Can iTalkBB works in this aspect just like my Bell landline? Anyone who know this please give me advice. Thank you.

Hi Nick, Happy New Year!

iTalkBB is internet based telephone, the only thing you need is the internet connection.

You can submit a request to italkbb to keep your local Vancouver phone number before you call and cancel the telus service, usually within one month, you old phone number will be transferred to italkbb account.

Hope this answer your question.

I have used ItalkBB for about 2 weeks and are quite happy about it.

I did many domestic and international calls and found the sound quality is quite high and reliable, even better than using a calling card. The sales person is very knowledgeable and helpful, who walked me through the whole process such as phone# transfer, device and account setup etc.

I would recommend this to my friends.
