年计划的客户会在注册时一次缴清相关税费。
对于老客户：
月计划的客户将按月收取$2.95固定的”RECOVERY FEES, CHARGES AND TAXES”，在iTalkBB个人账户中月费和相关税费会分开显示。$2.95的固定RECOVERY FEES, CHARGES AND TAXES会在当前账单周期截止后的第一张账单中收取。
年计划的客户会在每月账单周期的第一天收取”RECOVERY FEES, CHARGES AND TAXES”，年计划到期前将照每月收取，年计划到期更新时将会一次收取12个月的相关税费。

Starting from Feb. 15, 2009, iTalkBB will collect a $2.95 “Applicable Regulatory Recovery Fees, Charges and Taxes“. This applies to both new customers and existing customers who have already subscribed to a monthly or annual plan. The added cost is definitely unwelcome but expected, I hope this post may help clarify things a bit.
Here is the story:
As iTalkBB grows in customer base, it becomes increasingly difficult to get away with regulatory fees, charges and taxes — which can be as much as 15% from what shows up in our TV, Internet, Mobile phone, or regular phone bills. It is risky not to fully disclose those fees. At some turning point, iTalkBB decides to pass this to customers.
For the existing customers, please beware any out-of-date credit card information on
iTalkBB site. Service may be interrupted if charge for this fee cannot be processed:

New Details about cancelling iTalkBB account:
1. You Must Call 1-877-482-5503
* Early Termination Fee: $69.99, charged for cancellation within 12 month after activation and after trial period.
- fee avoided after 12 months’ subscription — $69.99 is like 3-month-worth of service. If one wants to cancel italk after 9 months, it would be better off waiting for the end of the service year than paying this huge penalty.
* Equipment Charge: $59.99, charged for equipment not mailed back to iTalkBB within 7 days from termination.
- To avoid the charge, one need to call 1-877-482-5503 to terminate the service and obtain an equipment return authorization form, and within 7 days (postmark time) ship the voip box in original packing to Return Department at 1608 Spring Hill Road, Suite 430, Vienna, Virginia 22182.
